A new website with cute clothes geared just for west coast swing dancers has launched, www.westiewearfashion.com.
They’re a really niche business selling dance, music, and travel-inspired clothes specifically geared toward westies. Their tagline is “Steal the Spotlight” which is a play on the “spotlight” style Jack n’ Jill and Strictly competitions. So far they have items like tanks and T’s with dance related sayings, fun music-themed and bright colored leggings, and some dressier tops for social dancing and competing. You should check out the site!
Really any swing dancer or social dancer would like their clothes. They’d even appeal to latin dancers for salsa or zouk. Here’s a sample of some of the items they feature, which are totally dance appropriate, or even if you just want to look sharp while doing yoga or zumba!
If you’re not comfortable buying clothes online, they are also a vendor at west coast swing dance events throughout the year. Their upcoming events include DCSX and Floorplay New Years.
